On Sunday November 5 we welcomed the The Royal Irish Regiment for its annual Service of Remembrance.
As they gathered to remember the fallen of their antecedent regiments the emphasis was on the wider regimental family, not only those who support their serving relatives on operations but also those who have lost loved ones in times of war, through acts of terrorism on our own streets and the more recent campaigns in Iraq and Afghanistan.
