BRANCH MEETING

The opening meeting for the Mothers’ Union is on 11th September at 10.15 am. Worship in Chapel of Unity.

MOTHERS’ UNION PRAYER

Loving Lord
We thank you for your love so freely given to us all.
We pray for families around the world.
Bless the work of the Mothers’ Union as we seek to share your love through the encouragement, strengthening and support of marriage and family life.
Empowered by your Spirit, may we be united in prayer and worship, and in love and service reach out as your hands across the world. In Jesus’ name.  Amen

WAVE OF PRAYER

The MU Wave of Prayer encourages members around the world to pray as close as possible to midday each day for their fellow members in the various dioceses around the world, and the work in which they are engaged in the support and encouragement of Christian family life.

1st - 5th September - Adelaide (Australia), Karamoja (Uganda), Kumi (Uganda), Soroti (Uganda), Tamale (West Africa), The Murray (Australia), Wakefield (York) and Willochra (Australia)

6th - 10th September - Ankole (Uganda), Central Solomons (Melanesia), Ideato (Nigeria), Kigezi (Uganda), Minna (Nigeria), North Ankole (Uganda), North Kigezi (Uganda), North West Australia (Australia), The Arctic (Canada), The Association of Anglican Women in Peru (Southern Cone) and Worcester (Canterbury).

11th - 15th September - Armagh (Ireland), Brandon (Canada), Caledonia (Canada), Central Zimbabwe (Central Africa), Ibadan South (Nigeria), Ottawa (Canada) and Tasmania (Australia).

16th - 20th September - Accra (West Africa), Christchurch (Aotearoa, New Zealand and Polynesia), Dublin and Glendalough (Ireland), Kumasi (West Africa), Tabora (Tanzania) and Western Tanganyika (Tanzania).
