CATHEDRAL CITYSCAPE
INSIDE THE GREENROOM
The area shown here will be removed for the installation of the fins and the base of the Spire of Hope. It will later be covered with glass. In the meantime it affords excellent views of the city.
LOOKING NORTH 1
A sweep from the Belfast Telegraph, to the old Courts of Justice up the Crumlin Road, to the black of the Mater Hospital and the spires of Carllile Circus Methodist Church (as was), St Patrick's and to its right, that of Clifton House.
LOOKING NORTH 2
Our immediate neighbour, the University of Ulster (Belfast campus) is having a major facelift just across Academy Street.
ST ANNE'S SQUARE
Looking East - the site of the new St Anne's Square - £80 million development - is outlined by blue barrels.. A new hotel is to be built in the top right hand corner at the end of Talbot Street.
AND TO OUR SOUTH
Across Talbot Street former warehouses are being converted into apartments, offices, and a new museum for the Royal Irish Regiment.
