+ O Lord Jesus Christ, who was thyself a child at Nazareth: We bring again to thee the children of this parish, that they may love thee above all things. Grant wisdom and faithfulness to all parents, that our Christian homes may be bulwarks of our common life, and that children may grow up to the praise of thy holy name.

+ O Lord, who didst found thy Church to proclaim the Faith by preaching and teaching: Give to our leaders in religious education undaunted courage and wisdom, and to us a new spirit of faith and adventure, so that thy will may be done on earth as it is in heaven, to the glory of thy name.

+ We bring before God the parent of us all our concerns for the children of our community. We ask for God’s blessing on all engaged in education in teaching, administration and policy formation. We pray that they and us will be guided by God to work for the welfare of all our people and for this place and this world which is God’s creation.
