Cathedral Services by Telephone

028 95 320355.

Cathedral "Dial-a-Service" Facility makes Sunday Services available to those who have no Internet access.

From Sunday 17th May, a new facility allows cathedral parishioners and others who do not have access to the internet to join in Sunday Worship, while the doors of the cathedral remain closed due to Coronavirus. The new technology allows anyone to dial a local Belfast number (028 95 320355) and listen to the cathedral services on their own telephone. Anyone with a speaker phone facility may find this an easy way to listen to the half hour services.

Because the number is local to Belfast, telephone charges should be kept to a minimum, although users are advised to check their own phone package to ensure costs are kept low.

Each recording begins with a short introduction, before the service begins. An announcement at the end indicates when the service has ended. Those using this facility should make sure that they hang up after the service ends.

The Dean thanks a number of clergy colleagues who gave invaluable guidance to help set up the technology, including Revs Philip Benson, Ian Mills, and Rev Andrew Irvine (Banbridge). Thanks also to Rev Stu Reid for his advice given during a recent clergy on-line seminar organised by Archdeacon Paul Dundas.

However to enjoy services with pictures of our beautiful cathedral, you will still have to log on to our cathedral Facebook page  https://www.facebook.com/BelfastCathedral/ .
