Hazel’s retirement gift to Black Santa
Cathedral parishioner Mrs Hazel McCalister presented Dean Stephen Forde with a cheque for the Black Santa Appeal at a special dinner to mark her retirement.
Hazel has retired after 47 years of nursing and as a senior Midwife at the Ulster Hospital. She asked that her retirement presentation be divided among a number of designated charities, including the Dean’s Black Santa Appeal.
Hazel’s retirement dinner took place at Clandeboye Estate in Bangor on Saturday January 12.
