Job Vacancy – Tenor Lay Clerk
Belfast Cathedral seeks to appoint a TENOR LAY CLERK to sing in the Cathedral Choir, from 01 September 2019. This post will enable an experienced singer to take part in the great cathedral repertoire in a wonderful building with an excellent acoustic and under the direction of the new Director of Music, Matthew Owens.
The Lay Clerks sing at the Choral Eucharist and Choral Evensong on Sundays and the Choral Evensong on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday in term time as well as special services at the major Festivals, concerts, and other occasions. The salary is £6,000 per annum. An Access NI check will be required for the successful applicant.
