Mourning the death of the Revd Dr Ron Elsdon
With deep sadness, our cathedral community mourns the death of the Revd Dr Ron Elsdon, a beloved member of our congregation and clergy team.
After his retirement as Rector of Stranmillis, Ron worked tirelessly for many years to support our cathedral, and the ministries of the Dean and of his wife, the Revd Janice Elsdon.
Ron was a faithful servant of Christ, known and loved by all for his grace, humility, and generosity.
Please join us in praying for Janice, their sons, Peter and Andrew, and their family.
Ron’s funeral service will take place at the Cathedral at 11am on Monday 4th August.
