Sunday Services 21st March
Sunday 21 March is the Fifth Sunday in Lent, the beginning of Passiontide. The morning service will be the annual Connor Diocesan Mother's Union Festival Service, on the theme Rebuilding Hope and Confidence. The service will be livestreamed, but will be available to view for a month on the Cathedral Facebook page (link below).
In accordance with current N.I. Executive regulations today's Morning Worship will be livestreamed only, as the cathedral is closed to public worship during the present period of lockdown.
The service is led by the Very Reverend Stephen Forde, Dean, assisted by Mrs Sally Cotter, Connor Diocesan President, and the preacher is Mrs June Butler, Mother's Union All-Ireland President. Music will be provided by Jack Wilson, with a choir of 4 voices under the direction of Matthew Owens. The Anthems are "Geistliches Lied" by Johannes Brahms and “Ave Maria” by Sir Edward Elgar.
