Belfast Cathedral - Sunday Services 30 January

You are welcome to join us at 11.00am on Sunday 30 January 2022, which is the Fourth Sunday after The Epiphany. The service will be Choral Eucharist, with the Reverend Janice Elsdon as preacher and the Dean's Vicar as celebrant.

Please note that  seating will be by alternate rows, and we ask that 2 vacant chairs (1m) be kept between groups.

The musical setting for Choral Eucharist will be Missa Brevis by Sir Lennox Berkeley. The Communion Motet will be Love divine, all loves excelling by Howard Goodall.

Choral Evensong will take place at 3.30pm. The music will be:

Then, at 7.00pm we host the opening event for the 2022 Belfast Four Corners Festival: "Let us Dream - Austen Ivereigh in Conversation" with doors open from 6.30pm. Dr Ivereigh is the biographer of Pope Francis, we look forward to viewing a personal message sent by Pope Francis. See the separate News item for more details.

For those unable to be present in person, the Service will be live-streamed from 7pm on both the "Four Corners Festival" facebook page, and the Belfast Cathedral Facebook page.

Those attending services are reminded that, by law,  face coverings must be worn when entering, exiting and moving around within the building, and while singing. We also request that they are worn throughout the service.  

Social distancing requirements should be observed during and after the service. Holy Communion will be in one kind only.
